IMEKO places special emphasis on supporting young scientists and early-career researchers (ECRs). Building on initiatives spearheaded by Technical Committee 2 (TC2) and the Presidential Board, several formal mechanisms were established.
Junior Membership Category: A new membership entry level to encourage early involvement in Technical Committee activities.
Working Group of Young Scientists in Metrology (WYSM), chaired by Dr Valentina Bello, provides a dedicated platform and voice for early-career members.
