STATISTICAL EVALUATION OF MEASURED VOLTAGE SPECTRA IN DC RAILWAYS
Abstract
The problem of the evaluation of the Power Quality of railway networks is presented, focusing on the specific characteristics of DC railway networks, dominated by the characteristic and non-characteristic harmonics of the rectifier substations. Reference is made to the measurement data of the pantograph voltage and current taken on the Italian network; the results are then the aggregate statistical description by means of histograms and Fourier spectra.
