Investigation of the Calibration Capabilities of a 1 kN·m And 10 kN·m Reference Calibration Machine

F. Crößmann

Abstract

To expand the capacity of its calibration laboratory, Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik GmbH is planning to use two new reference calibration machines in the range up to 1 kN·m and 10 kN·m respectively. In addition to the theoretical consideration of the individual elements contributing to measurement uncertainty, measurement data is also compared using the <i>E</i>n value as a demonstration of the target measurement uncertainty of 0,02% (<i>k</i> = 2).
