The development and tests of a preamplifier for the spectrum analyzer adopted for noise measurements in quantum Hall standard

Abstract

This paper describes setups for measuring noise in the frequency range from 10 kHz to 100 MHz of semiconductor structures made of new Diracmaterials - 2D-COF/MOF intended for the construction of QHRS quantum standards. The main emphasis was placed on the preamplifiers. The first design gives solution with equivalent input noise value of about 1 nV/√?? at 100 kHz and 400 V/V amplification, second - improves the spectrum analyzer's noise figure (NF) from 7 dB to 0.64 dB
