- Abstract:
- The adaptive modeling of chemical attack on concrete for the prediction of durability and for the quality control of concrete structures requires the assessment of the concrete moisture content. Two sensors were designed to determine the permittivity which is related to the moisture content. These relations can be obtained from a calibration procedure. The applicability of the sensors was investigated in a field experiment on a test-building. First long-term results are reported.
