Abstract:
The aim of this work is to propose a camera calibration procedure for transportation applications in traffic engineering. In particular, a set of camera parameters that describes the mapping between 3-D world referenced coordinates and 2-D image coordinates was identified. This paper describes the camera calibration procedure steps to obtain acquisition of a entire 3-D train profile in critical points of the network.
