EVALUATION OF WATER CONTENT IN DIESEL FUEL USING IMPEDANCE SPECTROSCOPY

Ɓukasz Macioszek, Ryszard Rybski
Abstract:
In the paper an attempt was made to evaluate the water content in the diesel fuel using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to verify experimentally that it can be used as an in situ, fast and relatively cheap alternative compared with laboratory method widely used nowadays. Experimental results show that with some limitations EIS method can be used to estimate water content in diesel fuel.
