- Abstract:
- The analysis methods of proficiency test (PT) data, when the uncertainty information is given, and a reference laboratory does not exist, are investigated in this study. Mainly two methods are characterized; the analyses with (i) the robust method which we developed, and (ii) the maximum likelihood estimation. Consequently, it is confirmed that the applicability latter approach is validated only when some conditions are satisfied. Therefore, the former analysis is basically recommended.
