Abstract:
This paper is concerned with the problem of measuring electric energy accurately under the large power dynamic (LPD) loads (e.g. arc furnaces in the steelmaking, high-speed train) testing conditions. The m-sequence pseudo-random dynamic testing (PrDT) signal parameter model is established. Meanwhile we analyze statistical properties of the PrDT signal model to prove that the model can represent typical characters of LPD loads and the testing signal is sparse in frequency domain. Then we design a deterministic optimal measurement matrix with the minimal measuring error and a novel Compressive Measurement (CM) measuring method is proposed. The CM measuring method can solve the problem of measuring electric energy accurately under the random dynamic testing signal conditions. Using the PrDT signal model, simulation has also been carried out based on different length and period of msequence. The results show that the metering errors of CM measuring method are small enough to be ignored.
