ON-LINE AUTOMATIC SELECTION OF MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES FOR DIMENSIONAL RUBBER GASKET CHARACTERISATION

Abstract:
The paper describes an image-based stereo vision measurement system for contact-less inspection in rubber gasket industry. With respect to a previously proposed system, a new dual-scale segmentation procedure is introduced, directly applicable to different classes of measurands without any software update. Furthermore, thanks to a classification stage, the proposed system can automatically activate a measurement procedure specific for each gasket, without any human intervention.
