Abstract:
Coordinate Measuring Arms (CMA) are devices that differ in many respects from conventional coordinate measuring machines (CMM). They have from 5 to 7 rotating pairs, in which the encoders are placed. These devices are manual, mobile, redundant, and at least 3 axes have a full rotation. Therefore, in this article, the method of development of CAA correction matrix for the CMA is described. What is a completely different issue of the development of CAA correction matrix for the conventional CMM.
