Instantaneous frequency estimation of distorted sinusoidal signal by “quasi” repetitive approach

Abstract:
In this paper a control scheme based on a "quasi" repetitive controller is proposed for asymptotic tracking of the instantaneous frequency of distorted sinusoidal signals. The resonant frequency of the repetitive controller is tuned by using an adaptive orthogonal signals generator based on a second-order generalized integrator. Experimental results are performed to highlight the characteristics and performances of the proposed method, in comparison with other existing approaches.
